Thanks to Pete and Trevor140 for comming, it was a good day and the weather held out for us. i was a bit of a laugh, and learnt a bit as well.

i was a bit annoyed as my camera decied to stop working the day before, well 2 buttons, meaning i couldnt change the aperture, Focus and other settings, i was shooting mainly on shutter priority or auto, so alot of pics came out bad.

Thanks again to pete for driving us around it made sence to go in one car, plus my car was a bit broke.

We meet up at the Ship Inn, had a drink and some food, then moved on to Lyndhurst we went to 2 of the chruches

the first one had a cemetary with one or teo ornate grave stones,

we then moved on to the other church, no cemetary but some interesting gargoils on the building though

we them moved on to Boltons Bench, but we had to walk past here first

there was also some Donkey's on to of the hill, this one looked old and wise

After that we drove in to Southampton and walked around the Old Walls, build in the dark ages, amazing how much is still standing and in use. i tried not to bore Trevor and Pete but i love the Old Walls and studied local history at school. i didnt get any photos that came out any good of the walls.

we finished up at Holy Rood, which is and old church, part of the old walls, that got hit in the Blitz

It had these bird like skapes on the gate and i thought it was a interesting photo

hopefully we have another and we can get a couple more people interested

Nice shots there Craig. Awfully glad you didn't get that one of me and the donkey together there!! That's a real good zoom on the S2 you've got there. I felt a bit restricted with only the 50mm.

I'll get my shots up tonight...
