Default Under the bridge

Taken at the last Scottish POTN meet...the other twelve guys were stood on top of the bridge whilst I explored the light on the 'tunnel' under the bridge at the Falls of Bruar, Perthsire.

Nicely exposed/processed Steve. There is nice detail in the tunnel and in the trees beyond.

The sunlight on the floor makes this shot. Too bad about the graffiti on the wall, though.

It sure is perfect and it looks to me like the typical kind of shot that's difficult to expose properly.

There are so many ways to get that shot wrong but you managed to get it right. I love the colors and the light, especially how it casts the trees shadows into the tunnel. Great detail too Steve.

Thanks all

There's no real way to get a perfect exposure in shot for a subject like this is there?

I blended two RAW shots, one exposed for the shadows, one for the highlights.

It was the light on the floor that drew me to the scene whilst the rest of the boys were pushing each other out of the way for a vantage point of the falls above.

Exposure is indeed perfect as you can easily see the details in darkest parts and the scenery you can see through the tunnel makes this picture even better, well done.
