Caught this shot on vacation last month, while walking behind my daughters.

I think the Idea is great, selective color here will work very well.
The only think I didnt like is the blown highlights on the right girls jacket.
other then that its a great shot and a great idea.

I agree, I was upset about the highlights as well, but the fact that I caught the girls holding hands made up for it (for me that is).

rare moment for you! I have 3 girls and don't think they would ever hold hands unless I told them to! I like the coloring!

Do you a series of photos showing them walking ? Since the lighting was so difficult, I hope you did a bunch like that. Maybe you captured one in good lighting conditions. This one has too broad a range from white to mid-tones to black. If you had caught one while they were both in shadow it would have worked.
