Oh sad day. Packed up and shipped my 200mm off to its new home today. Hopefully the new owner will get more use out of it than I did. I am sure I will regret selling it. It was a great lens for evenings out at the minor league ball park!

i read about a lot of people here that dont use this lens so much after owning it. i was thinking of renting it but after reading a review somewhere and a few peoples feedback on here i think im going to go for the versatility of the 70-200 f2.8

I really like bringing it around with my 24-105 on my 5Dmkii (also bring a 430ex II flash) when I'm going around with my family. It gives me a bit of a reach option when I need it.

Very nice!

The 200mm f/2.8 is quite a jewel of a lens. Fast, sharp, reliable...

An unusual use for this lens, but it's what I had on my 30D when
the "magic" happened. I'm unlikely to see a sunset like this one again
for a _long_ time.

With the Kenko tubes added. Can't get too close, but it does reduce the MFD.

Gear list
"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
