Default Action Shots

Hey All,
I am going to a concert on Friday, and am looking to take pics. I went to see Carrie Underwood, and with my S2 IS my pics came out amazing. But she was easy to capture because she didn't make any really fast movements. But this concert on friday, they are all playing instruments, and I and looking for a setting in manual mode, or any other suggestion, where the the pics wont come out blurry. I am still new to this, so sorry if my terminology sucks
