Default software to run batch images to autocorrect .. HELP

Anybody used some that they really like? Please give some feedback to help me choose.

Sp far I have looked at:
DCE: http://www.mediachance.com/dce/index.html
Qimage: http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/feature.htm

And also was told about Photoshop elements.

I am looking for a simple tool to quick fix (red-eye, color, etc etc) batch images. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

I am a newbie so a tool with settings for G1 would be nice.

Check out NeatImage Pro (www.neatimage.com), it is primarily for noise reduction, but I believe you can also run additional filters over the image, the Pro version has an unlimited batch capability, the most I have loaded at one time was 870 images!

Not sure about the redeye though, that sort of filter I would be wary of, as it has a high chance of screwing things up if not supervised.

Qimage is primarly a printing program that can do some adjustments. It is not a replacement for an imaging program, but it is the best printing program I have had to date.

Which one depends on what you want to do and at what cost.

Default what I am looking for

To fix images for printing. I have downloaded Elements and PSP and have started to play around with those. Photoshop CS seems to be a bit out of my price range

Those are good. You can always upgrade later.

I usually turn the settings down a little, otherwise the results can look a little "plastic" on skin tones. There is a little preview function before the noise reduction process. You can drag your mouse over an area to preview the noise reduction on that area alone prior to processing the whole image.
