Default first G2 shots

I finally received my new camera after waiting six weeks from Buy.com, eventually giving up, and then changing my order to Etronics.com. It was well worth the extra $40, as the G2 arrived within four days after the change. As it turned out just in time for a business trip to Europe. Fortunately it wasn't all business, and I had some great photo opportunities in Athens and Amsterdam. Obviously I'm still getting the hang of the camera, but I love it's versatility and all the features that digital boasts over film. I especially had fun inside the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam shooting some of the great paintings, although keeping the glare from the overhead lights out of the finished shot was a challenge. I posted my best shots at this pbase url:

My wife has announced to me that she feels like a digicam widow since the G2 arrived. She'll get over it.

K-Man-Dude

Your Greek Church, Pommegrante, and Picnic on the Grass are wonderful. The latter suggests that you have a fine eye for composition.

You G2 color renditions looked more like the EOS D30 to me ... soft and pastel shaded. I love those shades.

Thanks, very enjoyable.

Default A few shots from widely dispersed locales

Here is the same link to a new gallery of shots from a just-completed around the world business trip to Indonesia, Greece and Copenhagen. I experimented for the first time with black and white in Denmark, as it was a gray and moody day.
