S400 LCD Screen Protector are these really needed?
I was just surfing Ebay for extras on my S400 and come to find some LCD protectors.
Are these needed? Does Canon manufacture some sort of protector? On a Pocket PC I see a reason to buy one to protect the screen from the numerous tapping and writing. Any info would be helpful. |

Depends how well you look after your cameras !
I keep mine in a case when I'm not using it and never put it in a pocket with keys/coins etc so I don't find a screen protector necessary. They can often distort the screen image and make nearby buttons harder to press too.
