I was shooting some people surfing today. When I zoomed it into 14x it got all blurry and faded out really looked bad. ANyone know what the problem is?

14x? How do you get 14x. The G3 and G5 are effectively 4x (35-140mm equivalent) and adding the TC-DC58N will multiply that by 1.75 so you get roughly 245mm equivalent at full zoom. That is only about 7x "zoom".

Probably from the front of the Camera as my G3 has 14x Zoom right on the label.

No, digital zoom is bad at full resolution; you can achieve the same affect by cropping and resampling in Photoshop.
It just sounded like it might have been enabled given that it showed 14x zoom, and it was all blurry. |
