Default Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro
Well I noticed there is no archive for this lense yet, and it's the Tamron's compeditor, so let's see some samples!

Does this lens have the sharpness that the canon 24-70L has? I was considering this as my next lens but I'll probably go with L.

May I suggest you having a look at the Tamron 28-75mm...
It is famous for being very sharp, and at a more reasonable price than the Canon, too.

Seems fairly sharp, and the bokeh is good, but it seems to lack contrast. Nice lens for the money, though.

Not on my monitor. You calibrated lately? Sharp, colourful and good contrast. Nice lens.

Photos are looking good, one thing I like alot about the Sigma is the build quality. It seems better than the Tamron, and I've heard alot of problem w/ the Tamron's AF failing after a while. I also like how the Sigma has a non-rotating focus ring.....I've accidentally grabbed the focus ring on my Sigma 18-200 before and it's probably not a good thing.
