The Black Kite shots were taken at a place called Mt. Isa in Queensland. I had seen a few kites circling our campsite and so one morning I set of very early & climbed a nearby rocky hill and lay down on my back watching the kites passing over me. On a few occasions they came within a few feet right over my head which was very exciting!

Nice images here of the Kite especially the second one. Thee Wedge Tail gets my attention....such a powerful bird and I like the whole feel/mood of this shot.

Beautiful Kite shots Paul, the second shot is my favorite. Well done on the series. Is it not too cold to camp there?

Nice series. The first is very nicely done with a great pose against a nice blue sky.

Great shots Paul, but I'm with Gary on this one. The Wedge-tail made it for me.
