Default Few Holiday Shots for Some Friends

Feel free to C&C all you'd like!

Canon Rebel XT, Tamron 55-200 DiII Macro, 1 Reflector (camera right), No Flash

They looked through the photos right after i finished shooting, and these were the choices they liked. So i decided to share them all. They are going to print out wallets only!

1. My Favorite

2.

3. Crop from the above shot

4. Had to try one of these!

I must say I like them all. The crop of the one photo works better for me as I feel in the original the couple is competing with the elements, trees, water, shore. Have you tried a tighter crop of the silhouetted photo? I'd be interested to see what it would look like with a crop just below their arms. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

As for the hot spots, i knew they were there as i was shooting, but because the sun was on its way down, and they said it didn't matter (i warned them ahead of time about the harsh light on their faces) i kept on shooting!

I'll try a crop of the last one in the morning when i am on my laptop. This computer doesn't have the original files

LOCATION: sorry but we are all in the Torrance and Norwalk area.

Thanks again all!

Definitely pose #2 and #4 ! Pose #1 lighting has him squinting and, because of that, he has furrows in his forhead. #2 is really good ... although a black reflector, on a light stand, blocking the extraneous light would have made it great. #3 is a tad too close and his expression is not that good. #4 I love it... just clone the water from the right side to cover the extreme spectral highlights on the water and it's a wall size presentation.
