Default Lightroom release in March

Pma is in March and Beta 4 ends in Feb. Do the math, Adobe will release Lightroom at the show in March.
Jeff Schewe of Adobe is in the process in shoting a DVD tutorial for Lightroom as we speak.
I can not wait for March and maybe a new Canon
Mark III.

Yep a Marik III AWESOME, I have my fingers crossed for a II N replacement. I have the beta Lightroom, it will be interesting to see the final release. Lots of potential out there for March!

Amazon has lightroom available for pre-order with a stated release dat of Feb. 19, Price: 306.00. I hope Adobe keeps its word about allowing a free DL of it for people who purchased RSP just before they bought it out. I also hope that the free DL is good for upgrade pricing in the future.

There is no reason they would pull back on the decison to offer RSP owners a free download of Lightroom. I just hope they give users a choice of which platform they want. I am a registered owner of RSP but recently made the switch to a Mac.

Was the arrangement for RSP owners to be free or at a reduced price? I thought it was a reduced price.

In any case, I have been using Lightroom Beta 4 and now like it better than RSP. The only thing I really don't like is the import system instead of just being able to browse your directory structure. Is there any way around that?

My understanding is that it's a free download for the first version, so I guess after that, you have to pay to upgrade.

It is rumored that in V1.0 you will be able to browse folders. I have been playing around with Aperture and I like the interface. I find the modules in Lightroom a bit cumbersome.
