Default Graffiti in a tunnel...

Hi,

I'm not that much expierenced with photography yet, but me and my dad went out tonight to get some pictures of 'DSM' (A huge chemical concern here). On our way back to the car I noticed there was a tunnel for bikers, which was full of graffiti !

I Was just taking pictures when my dad walked on to the other side, couldn't resist taking a pic @ 2sec's shuttertime.
It'd might not be such a great picture as I usually see passing by on this forum, but hey i'm just a beginner, and thought this photo was different...

I've done a little bit of retouching in photoshop, changed the temperature and lowered the saturation. That's about it.

Can you give me some C&C Please?

i quite like this shot, desaturating the graffiti was a good option or it would have appeared to be the subject. but now i dont what what the subject is.

maybe a bit of a crop off the drain at the bottom so you are inside the tunnel more

nice shot

i am really into graffiti, i don't do it personally but i love you walk around and look at it and the such.

nice shot. i agree about the crop though, i don't think cutting off the drain and that small amount of the photo is going to effect anything

I'd crop it to remove the edge of the roof of the tunnel at top left.
Although I like your dad motion blurred, I notice the cool pattern from the lights on either side and your dad interferes with the pattern. (sorry dad!)
Maybe clone stamp out the light visible at the end of the tunnel - just to the right of dad's shoulder.

I tried adjusting the levels - I like it darker to emphasize those lights.

I've got the original picture as well, but it's over exposed and wáy to orange. I Guess I Shouldnt have used a 2second shuttertime...

i like the shot.... but i also think the crop out the bottom drain would look pretty sweet.

I was thinking something like this.
Just my taste - maybe not everyone's cup of tea.
I cropped at 3:2, I think I like your wider aspect crop more.

I agree. Far too dark.
I really like your crop. I think adding in some contrast might give the photo more interest.

I like the blurred "dad" - it's somewhat ghost-like and I think, adds something - don't take him out. Good stuff.

Ha, thanks guys, nice to see some appreciation for my efforts

I'm thinking about getting this picture printed and hang it on the wall here somewhere, I believe that it's worth it
