Default I fixed me.......

I bought a magazine the other day that shows how to fix a face. I have always hated my picture being taken because the camera shows every line....... Combine that with a very poor self portrait taken in front of a mirror and I had a really lousy picture. This took me about an hour. Still not 'good' but I think it's an improvement, do you think? I made my "lipstick" too pink. But I got rid of the crows eyes and the crease between my eyebrows. And I managed to get rid of the bags under my eyes. If only it were that easy in real life.......

comments? remember, I'm new......

It seems like you did ok on fixing the lines, but the second one is a bit noisy IMO.

Actually the second image is quite well done - it's just very under exposed and noisy. I hope you don't mind I've worked it a bit...maybe a bit too much. Actually what I did was levels, contrast, noise removal, sharpen. The noise removal may have 'smoothed' it a bit too much.

Here's my go.... I used levels in cs2 and done a little work on the eyes with the smudge tool and burn tool then ran it through neat image.

Clio, my try:

but you shouldn't be trying to fix it, reshoot
Take 2 steps forward to separate from background, don't make such a tight crop
