Default The Hot Puppies

Couple more images taken last year,The band are the hot puppies...indie band.
They were good to photograph and venue had good lighting which was a bonus.Shot on a 10d.

i like these they look very retro and fits the genre very well, 1st one has brilliant framing,

#1 on a 10D! That's fantastic.

Shows the 10D can captured great shots [but you really have to understand its limitations, including extremely slow buffer/recycling times].

p.s. looks like you "processed" the colors a little for a cool effect - "vintage pastel" like

If i remember i think i just played around with the colour temp,tweaked it a bit.

Oi! Don't diss the 10D! DZ's entire empire was built on two of 'em - and that still all I've got in my bag!


(Since Mr. DZ is the REAL photographer, he gets all the "real" kit. Sigh!)

I think I'ld crop off a bit of the floor and the right from both, but other then that I like 'em.

I agree with the real good depth of field in both photos...
What were the properties of these pics? The EXIF is not intact...do you recall the lens you used, the aperture, shutter speed and ISO? It would be great to know how you managed the great focusing here...

Just had a look at the files.........

Both were taken with a tokina 20-35 at 20mm f4.5 and 1/100th sec, no flash
