I cannot believe that I am so shallow. I mean this is a masterfully composed and lit study. The tonal range is exquisite (I've noticed that before in your work). The hard-scrapple church, so meticulously and proudly maintained is strongly juxtaposed against an impending sky and that wreck of what might be a school bus off the left in the trees. It shows the pride of people who are making clean, honest lives under difficult conditions.
Yes... it does so much that I'm embarrassed to be distracted by the way the church is tipping to the right. On the other hand... it might, in real life be tipping. And if that is the case, the whole thing is yet more powerful. But ... but... I am not sure if it is reality, lens distortion, or a tipped camera. Hmmm... perhaps that tension adds yet more to the image. Anyone else have an opinion here? This is a work which deserves reaction. Ted
