Does a CF card reader/writer enable uploading of avi files?

I have a Canon S400 elf. I want to be able to move an avi file (movie) from my camera to my PC and later upload it back to my camera mfrom my PC. Can I do this with a CF card reader/writer? Thanks.. Tom

Yes, you can use Zoombrowser to do that.

Well, I'm able to upload a movie clip (with the correct specs) to my Powershot S70, but getting it to playback is another issue. It just shows up as an unidentified image.

I've even made sure the .THM file works and I've uploaded it via Windows Explorer.

If you have any hints on getting this to work I would appreciate it.
