Bought the S50 today.
Full charge till "green". After 20 minutes of "play time" and roughly 10 pics, battery indicator light is on. What is going on. This seems a bit absurd. Does this camera need to go back? Thanks marc |

I went to a car auto show, took 120 pictures at 1600x1200 setting. 95% without flash and the batter was just fine.

For some reason the first time you charge a lithium-ion battery it will run out of power very quickly. In my experience it will reach 100% of its capacity after 2 or 3 charges. Try it out and let us know what happens.
