Default Path Variable

EE is amazing and one of the slickest applications I have seen in a while. One thing that I think would make it even better is the ability to have path information, such as the base server path (i.e. "http://www.photography-on-the.net/gallery/") stored as some type of variable like %baseurl%. This could then be used in the dialog editors to create centralized path manipulation rather than having to make sure you change paths in every single place in the interface.

An example path in the size editor might be:

%baseurl%/D30_photos/big_hq/

rather than

http://www.photography-on-the.net/D30_photos/big_hq/

Just a thought...
