Cool concept. If you try it again I would try and get a cleaner background. What did you use to get all the drops?

all i did was turn on the faucet really low and set my camera on the counter

Agree with above comments - excellent experiment. What shutter speed and lighting were you using?

Looks like he used 1/60th, from the EXIF.
