My First Post - Fruit!

Hey!
Just was wondering what all you guys though of this photo. This was taken for my digital photography class at school with my brand new Xti!!
Please let me know what you think about it!

It's nice, but I don't feel that the glasses should be involved. Take them out, and set up the fruit. This way, the only reflections you have are from the flash. Also, correct the white balance, as they seem a little too warm, for me anyway.

Otherwise, nice selection of colors -- reds, yellows, oranges, greens. Now, just make them do their job!

I like this, but I can see what inthedeck is saying about the glasses. Perhaps you could find a wooden bowl to put them in if you're not happy just placing them on that surface (either would look good, I reckon).

You may want to play with your white-balance slightly, too; I'm seeing an awful lot of yellow in this shot.

Yeah I agree abt the white balance...its too warm, the colors dont look natural..but i like the glass, i guess "Juice" is served...try taller glasses, so u cud stack it up a little more n work with negative spaces as well

I like the idea. Perhaps it would work a little better with fruit stacked up in one tall glass and the remaining fruit arranged around the bottom.
