A few days ago I posted here asking about cable service,, you guys responded that if I ever tried I would never go back to dial up..
All I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!!! I Installed it today myself.. Took about 30 min, cable and all. Hardest part was crawling under house to put in the cable. I can see more pic's in 10 min now than I could before in a hour! WOW!! It An't ( L ) glass but its great.. Ok the cost will slow down photographic supply purchases a little but it is worth it! Thanks for the replys JZaun |

I was an early DSL adopter.. (took me three tries because the first to providers wen bakrupt.. I treated myself early on because I could not get Cable... )
Indeed I would never go back! I can not even imagine dial up now. |

Yes, broadband rules. I spent last week with my laptop on dialup and it was slow. I never even visited the "shared photos" part of the forum. Too slow....

All I can do is blab about it.. It cost a arm and a leg,, $45 a month, but it is like having 5-6 computers going at one time on dial up, each searching for something different and I can still beat them! I am able to read every post on a subject whereas before I would onlu hit a couple. If comcast gives a 3 month $19.99 per month deal in your area at least try it for 3 months. You can rent the cable modem for $3 a month and install the system including cable yourself in 30 min. At worst you get 3 months of high power for the cost of AOL.

Oh yes, these forums are more enjoyable after getting Comcast cable modem. I am getting 3018 kbps on downloads, which is great!

Oh, the differences between broadband and dial-up are the same as from zero to hero, with dial-up a page like
