Default Third Wedding, First "Winter Wedding", need advice on lighting

Hi there! Well, I"m very nervous. Tomorrow I am shooting a wedding which will make it #3. The bride is an acquaintance and asked me to do it, it's her second marriage and she has two daughters (who are around 20) and her fiance has a daughter as well. It's pretty cold here in Ontario and we've had a whopping bit of snow these past few days.
My biggest concern about tomorrow is the lighting. We are going to try and take a couple outdoor shots. I know she wants a group one outside. My concern is the snow and what be the best settings to prevent over exposure.
I shoot with a 5D and will probably use my 24-105mm for the group shot.
Any advice on winter shot settings ? Shoud a use a fill flash?

my trick is i meter the light at my hand to start, then ignore the camer's light meter after that. The camera will think you are over exposed because of all the white snow but you won't be. Make sure when you meter your hand is the only thing in the viewfinder. Good luck! Hope that helps, post some pics after.

Thanks PC. I found some great reading on another thread. I went outside and did some practicing so I think I"m ready! I've been on a few photo forums but so far, this one is the best! Very informative..

Overexpose, as the camera's metering will be fooled by the snow. 1.5 to 2 stops (check your exposure while shooting).
