I jumped the gun it seems, I like the last two hawk shots best, very nice. Were these taken with the 400 F/5.6L

thanks,,,i took that today around 1, harsh lighting but it worked out, i think #1 would be Hawk lunch hahaha

thanks calicocat, yes they were all taken with a 400mm 5.6, i love this lens

Thanks Guitarman3, bromm and pttenn, its the local redtail, i i was shooting over at the slough and i saw him in the distance and i kindof thought i knew we=here he was flying around so i left to go find him.......and while i was getting some shots of him an american kestrel flew over for a photoshoot
