I tried a new Cross Screen filter tonight and thought this was a good picture. Please feel free to let me know what you think.

I like the photo in general, though almost immediately my eyes caught a vertical pattern throughout the picture, somewhat distracting. Looks like palm trees or other. I would either edit them out, or try a wider angle standing closer to the building, just enough to miss those poles/trees/etc .

Other than that, I am jealous at the results of the light mixture, the Margaritaville shows great exposure, and the lights on the left did not affect the image overall.

BTW, I will be in Orlando FL for a Conference in April, I could use a couple of ideas of spots where to go (or not to go) to take photographs. Not the tourist-sy side, but more the daily Florida scenario.

Need to know how far you want to drive and what you are looking to shoot? There are a few nice gardens, we have the Space Center only 45 minutes away. Let me know what you are looking for.

Soon as I have the details about the trip I will probably open a thread. I will probably rent my own vehicle -if not provided by the State- and travel to KSC, and other nearby areas (although for now I only know of the Space Center).

I also heard that the time of my trip will be around Spring Break, so I have no clue what that does to the landscape. Does it change the regular sites much?...

I will leave it for another thread, don't want to take away from your post.

Spring break makes everything very busy in Florida. Should be some nice sites around the beaches I love KSC and you can always get great shots, not only the space stuff but it is a wildlife refuge also. Lots of eagle nest and other creatures.
