Default Lomo Effect Photoshop Action Created & Download Ready
NOTE: This action is contained in a set that is available at the link below. If you wish to vew all the actions contained in the set, LOOK HERE.

I have created an action based off of an issue in THIS THREAD.

This action creates an image that has the same general appearance as a photo taken from a Russian Lomo LC-A Camera and is based of off a tutorial by DPS reader - Frank Lazaro.




The action has worked flawlessly in the PC version of PS-CS2 on every image I have tried it on thus far, no matter the size (down to 750px wide) or orientation.

If any try the action in PS versions other then CS2, please post your results here.

It goes in to the Pressets > Photoshop Actions folder in the folder where you installed photoshop.

Hmmm, I don't have that folder. I guess it won't work with Elements.

I thought I would toss up a before and after to show everyone what this action does. Settings were untouched in the action. Photo used was already resized and save a few time do to PP. Quality looks much better on the full size photo. Darn the compression!

In what menu do I find this filter if I have installed as mentioned above? Shouldn't it be under "Automate" in CS2?

Save the camera and motive, the photographer is already disabled!

No Sir, it is in the ACTIONS palette. (ALT-F9). Good luck and show us what you ended up with, if you don't mind!
