In the Pacific Northwest it was cloudy all night. I PS'd a 1/1000th moon shot over something like a 1/60th or something. I mainly did this to show the cloud cover I was shooting through in order to try and get a full moon shot.

The Moon is from a picture I took that had an exposure of 1/1000th. I then cut that moon out and pasted it on another picture I took that had an exposure of 1/60th. It's just a quick little photoshop, but I did it like that to show how the clouds were rolling through that night. The ring is simply the 1/60th exposure moon, it looked like a big light bulb until I covered it with a moon that had a better exposure.

There are some great shots on here that show the progress. Unfortunately for me it was nothing but clouds in Michigan (USA) so I didn't get to see a thing.
