A little sun and high winds promised to break open the frozen Lake Erie and our local duck pond. Cabin Fever inspired my wife and I to go in search of tough water birds. We started in Avon Lake Oh at a coal fired power plant. The warm discharge waters attract small fish near the pier thar draw diving ducks like the lesser scaup(blue billed) . On the way home we stopped by our local Mallard pond pond to find the Canvasback drake feeding for wild celery.
shot with the S2 IS Av @100 ISO F7.1 good sightings to all. Sam C&C welcome
