A few from tonights boxing, sorry hoockey match at the Sky Dome. Coventry face Cardiff for the last time in the league. We lost in the penalty shoot out but that came after the boxing.
1) Neal Martin ![]() 2) Ashley Tait ![]() 3) Rumun Ndur & Dion Darling ![]() 4) Post pugilism... ![]() 5) James Pease checks Brad Voth ![]() 6) Trevor Koenig ![]() 7) Face off. I love the eyes on the two players watching the puck. ![]() Round 2 of the boxing match posted below. If we get much more I'll be looking for tips from Dwight and the other boxing photographers. The penalty shoot out seemed boring after that lot. Scott

Amazing work man! What lens were you using?
I love the way the team mates are just standing back and enjoying the show in that last shot!

Superdiver:
Lenses used 1, 2 and 6 were with the 300 f2.8 All the others were with the 70-200 L IS f2.8 Tom, that number of sponsor patches is actually quite low. Ice Hockey does not get the funding that football does here a few patches will always be visible. European teams often have a lot more. Alan - We've Manchester on Saturday who we had a scrap with and we have Cardiff next Tuesday for the British Cup Final so it could be a repeat. Rich - The only advice I can give you is to read the forums here, get decent kit and practice, practice and when you think you've nailed it. Practice some more. Scott

Scott -- very cool work. I like #7 -- usually don't like faceoff shots but the four faces captured here really make it a good composition, nice tension. but my fav here is #2 -- I like shots that show how a great player separates skating, stick handling, and thinking about the game into three separate things. great shot.

Do you shoot the 70-200 2.8 IS with the IS on?

I also like #7 - well, all of them are excellent.
Hockey is a great game. It's a shame that some leagues still focus on fighting. IMO it takes away from the sport. Dan
