I actually think it is a nice shot! Exposure is nice, the crop is just right, and his expression is cool! I am a bit curious as to why he is holding his jacket up like that??

In all though i think it is a nice capture. Maybe a tad soft, but i figure it is just due to the downsizing!

Agreed, I think it's a nice captue, as an ex smoker I figure he's sheilding his cig from the wind. As said before, a touch soft but I think you got away with it. Well done.
Rob: You're at the point where it starts to get easier, hang in there, giving up was the best thing I've ever done.

... not that you're counting Rob!

I gave up about 30 odd years ago, and even now I remember how hard it was, but you're doing well, IT DOES GET EASIER - eventually.

Sorry, forgot to CC the photo!

Nice overall shot, might look better converted to B&W?

[Edit - sorry just re-read my post and it sounds like I am saying it doesn't look good now - far from it, as others have said, it is a little on the soft side, but I think converting to B&W might give it a little more "impact"]

I agree, bold contrasty mono would give it that extra oomph.

Obviously no smoking experience, he's blocking the wind while he lights his smoke.

Nice photo, great capture on the expression. I like the B/W too.
