New York Institute of Photography

I was wondering if anyone that frequents these forums has taken the courses at NYIP. I've looked at their site, and received info through mail, however I'd like to hear from those that have used their correspondence courses.

So, if you've been a student there, would you please tell of your experiences with them? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have also thought about taking the course. I sent off for the brochure but I didn't sign up. A few months later they sent me a new one with a cheaper price!
But I still haven't signed up because it seems like a lot of money when I could go to a local community college and take classes for much less. Having said that though, if someone ELSE would pay for it I would love to take it!
