Default TAX Return spending Thread

Haven't seen one of these this year..
So .. are you getting a return.. and if so does it go to you, or is it direct Deposit into B&H ?

What camera gear will it be earmarked for

Not sure if I'm getting one but if I do it will be going inta a Disney account
My wife will kill me if I buy any more camera gear.
But I could sure use a flash bracket.

To my surprice I will get a small return in one week I thought I would have to pay about the double so it was a nice surprice.. About $1100 and since I have put my Mark IIN & 20D up for sale it will be put into the Mark III fund

I'm a student with a scholarship. I don't pay any deductions all year. But then comes the time to do taxes........ No refund for me! I have to sell <insert body part here> to pay for the amount I owe!

It's going to cover the whole in the wallet that the 16-35 I want to buy is going to make.

I've already spent mine - back in late January. Got all my L's and a 1DMKII body with it! Selling off all my old equipment helped a little too - I was able to stick a good portion into savings.

I purchased a new home in 2006 and saved all my receipts last year, so it was a 5 digit return

This year shouldn't even come close, but that is a good thing.

How about a Tax Bill Thread where we list what we'll have to sell to pay the bill. I'm going to get hammered this year... potentially into $xx,xxx. Maybe we can use this thread to hook up the "refund people" with the "bill people" and be the most efficient.

Well what happened to me was I borrowed a ton of money to expand our photography business last year and have been agressively paying off the debt this year. So, I have no money, and all that loan paying is in reality a pure profit as far as the tax department is concerned. I'm sure I'll get through it, but I've learned a valuable lesson.

Well, I made out with my return this year and bought a Canon 300 2.8 L and the Canon500 4.5 L along with a new 30D body. If I had waited awhile I would have bought the Mark III but that will come from another source.
