Default 580EX wireless question..

Is it possible to use just 1 580ex and make it wireless?

guess what I am asking is it possible to use your onboard flash in unison with a single 580ex?

Or you can get a pocketwizard set and plug it into your PC socket. But not cheap.

Or you can get and Ebay radio trigger for like $20 and mod a mini port on the flash. It would work pretty good.

And except for the ST-E2 (or another 580/550EX) solution you have to go to manual flash.
