Default Alright you guys made me do it

After reading so much about the L lens and the performance, I went and bought me one at Roberts today.

I went with the 70-200 f4 USM L

Took it right out to the skatepark and got some shots. I haven't had time to really do anything with them yet, heck I haven't even looked at them on the PC. Tomorrow I will see what we have.
I was really impressed with the speed of the AF on this baby.

Please don't anybody start a thread on Corvettes or Ferrari's!!!!!

----and we'll continue you make you do it. Next, it will be the 17-40L, and then the 100-400L, and maybe the 24-70L, and then you'll start on the big primes.

We've got you now!

Ya know, I just can't get over how that EF 1200 f5.6L is da bomb. Ya know, it just can't be beat, and is a great value - really.

Well, Jeff, I do gotta say that I am becoming a believer in the 70-200 f4L. The tale will be told for me in May, when I go to my first race of the year. I stay outside the fences nowadays, but I don't think 200mm is going to be long enough for those shots. I will be renting a 100-400 for the weekend, so I can see if that is the right lens. If so, the 70-200 f4L will become the lens for me in the 200mm range. Of course, I'll still have to pony up the bucks for the 100-400, but that will set up my wish list.
