Default C&C on another silhouette

Here's another shot of a real man doing real work (as opposed to an old retired guy sitting on the porch and taking pictures of real men doing real work.)

Any comments on composition? I edited out a bunch of small branches that did nothing but add clutter. But did I leave too much space above his head?

I like it. I think having the base of the fork of the large branches would improve it slightly as the one on the left looks slightly out of place. Also, I think I'd like to see a sunset or something behind to give a bit of context. But it's a really nice picture. I like the details of the climber (bottom of shoe for example).

This one is a bit harsh and busy for me. I liked the depth of your last silhouette (even though the pp was aparent). This feels more like a paper cut out. For me, this shot is a great climbing shot, but a little busy, the tree on the left (esp the branches at the top left) pull my attention away from the climber. I would like to see a simpler, rectangle crop communicating the distance the climber has to go up, something like this:

Simple crop, highlighted the highlights a bit more. Makes the shot a lot more purposeful for me, and my eyes feel less conflicted over what to look at. The quality of line is great and the ropes add to it.

PS: I am really liking your style of silhouette, i may try it sometime!
