As I've currently got a crop camera I've gone for the Tamron 17-50, I did have gear lust for the Canon 17-55 f2.8 but after using my brothers Christmas day I was a tad underwhelmed. It's a nice lens but not that much better at all than the Tamron.

If I was still on the 1D3 I would've gone for the Canon 24-70L, lovely lens that was.

I've been getting fantastic results with the EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens. It's tempting to keep shopping around for something faster, but then I remember it has IS and that awesome focal range.

I'm missing the Sigma 300-800.

When you need both reach and versatility, there are not many that are better ;-)a

Best regards,
Andy

Heh! Let's just say that I recently sold my 24-70 but have kept my 24-105, and with my 5DC it is my favorite walk-around combo!
