The only place I could find one available was photolensrental, so I went ahead and rented it.
The wedding I'm shooting on April 14th has had a last minute change of location, it's going to be held in an ancient huge church thats only form of lighting are the stained glass windows and oil lanterns and we have to shoot from the back of the church during the ceremony. It is also going to be a "double" ceromony, twin sisters and their grooms, so two couples, same time. They hired me and my assistant so that they could have each of us cover them all together and as individual couples, therefore we both need lenses that will do the job. I only own one 70-200 2.8 and I'm not going to buy another just for this event.
Thanks for all your help

Corey, I tried but I guess because this lens is so popular and it's spring break time, they are just not very available right now and I am desperate. I hope it all works out, I've never rented anywhere but locally before.

I went and looked at this church today and thought "how are we going to pull this off". The brides are even entering at exactly the same time. There are identical old wooden spiral staircases from the organ loft on each side of the alter. It's really going to be a great location, but I don't own anything else I would trust under these locations. So I'm renting via internet.
