Default Another D70 test.

For some reason the D70 gets a lot of credit. Read this:

Quote:
Dave Etchells over at Imaging-Resource has just posted his full reivew of the Nikon D70 digital SLR, "I'll save you the suspense though, and say right up front that I *really* liked this camera. Nikon really got just about everything right, offering a lot more features and capability than the Digital Rebel, at only a slight premium in price. And the lens that ships as part of the kit is a bargain too, at an incremental cost of $300 for a very nice piece of optics."
A lot more features and capability? Am I missing something??

"full reivew"

I think Phil feels he must prove a point and seeks support from other reviewers. But I think he missed the point he needs to prove: he does not have to prove D70 is an ok camera - what was questioned was conclusions of image quality compared to 300D. For example, would you say 300D looses on quality with this: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PROD...HOUSEWBAP1.HTM or http://www.imaging-resource.com/PROD...S/D70INMP5.HTM ?

And if you see http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond70/page21.asp which is better, left side or right side?

And this does not really matter?:

I read the Dpreview article earlier today. I dont care much for brand loyalty, but I will say this: the one on the right is so much smoother and noise free. Maybe we are missing something?
