Default Couple of images

1. Here's a swan a shot yesterday. I was actually visiting a location with the intention of shooting the sunset, but it turned out not to be suitable. However, there were a few birds kicking about.

2. Pochard (?) having a bit of a stretch.

3. "Does my bum (US=ass) look big in this?". A long suffering mallard working out how to answer the unanswerable question (what he doesn't know is that there IS no answer).

All taken with 5D + 300mm f2.8.

Nice shots. The second is a Red Crested Pochard. I love the caption you added to the last one.

Thanks Sindri. I often try to capture some action when they're preeening. This is one of the few that worked out quite nicely.

Thanks Mitch. I think we've all been there at one time or another.

Very nice. I love the detail on the swan head. Not often you see the texture of the bill-wrap (not sure of the technical name for that part, so I made the word up!).

"Bill wrap" is good enough for me....although it does suggest a load of US dollars nestling in pocket as I'm standing on the corner....waiting for the man..
