Waiting is killing me!

Just waiting for the battery to charge on the new D-Rebel. 1 hour old.

LOL...I never thought about that....I guess when I get my canon 10d I will go out a week or two before and buy a couple extra battery packs and get them charged!!....oh wait...that requires the battery charger that comes with the battery....Darn!!!

I started out with a G3 so I never had to wait for my batteries to charge!

The G3 has a charger that plugs into the camera to charge the battery so you can be off and running (within the range of the charger cord, that is) taking pictures right from the get-go.

And when I got my 10D, well, I already had a fully charged battery that I borrowed from the G3 while the 10D battery was charging.

Bad side to all this is that I never learned the virtues of patience!
