Default deleting a folder from my SD630

Months ago, in my zeal to play with my camera, I created folder on it.

I have yet to find out how to get rid of it again. Even a low-level format didn't get rid of it. And that folder downloads onto my computer every single time...

Help?

Have you tried reformatting the card on your computer? I'm not entirely sure what you're saying is happening. Is the camera recreating all your folders on each new or reformatted card? Did you create a higher-numbered folder then go back to a lower-numbered one? Or what?

I created a folder using the camera's settings and called it MISC. Problem is that now everytime my camera downloads to the computer, it also downloads this extra folder as a subfolder on my computer and there's nothing in it.

Hm. Like this:

Camera out of the box:
files: 0

Camera after I'd fiddled with it:
files: 0
- folder: MISC | files: 0

Camera after one day:
files: 23
- folder: MISC | files: 0

Download to my computer:
folder: 20070101 | files 23
- subfolder: MISC | files: 0

Download to my computer after day 2:
folder: 20070102 | files 89
- subfolder: MISC | files: 0

Everything's fine camera-wise and computer-wise. I just can't get rid of that empty MISC folder on my camera that keeps downloading to my computer.

And no, a low-level format of the card did not get rid of it.

Actually, MISC is also a folder used by Canon on their cameras. I believe it's used to track downloads. So you're a victim of nothing more than coincidence.

You're kidding.

That means I am disremembering my actions.
