Default Crumpler for 300D?

Here is what I want and I think I have come down the the Crumpler bags...

I want to be able to take my 300D Digital Rebel w/24-105L attached along with me in a small "disguise" bag. I love the Crumpler bags but do not know which to get.

I am looking at either the 3 Million Dollar Home or 4 Million Dollar Home. I know the 4 will work, but I am wondering if the 3 will work as well as it lets me shave a bit of size.

Here is a size comparison I made with the 3, 4, 5 Million Dollar Homes and 24-105L:

Reviews are sparse on anything besides the 6 or 7 MDH bags, so any help would be great!

I really think that the 3 MDH will be too small. It is only 4 inches deep. I just received my Rebel XT today, and tried it with my 4MDH that I also just purchased. The camera just fits and the 4 Million is 5"D.

That being said, it is still a tight sqeeze and decided that I would be happier with a larger bag and will be replacing with a 6 Million Dollar Home.

There you go. Since the 350D(XT) is a smaller camera than the 300D, you'll probably want to go with the 6mdh, as Epona said. My dad has the XT and I have the 300D, and I can vouch that I wouldn't want to put the 300D in the same bag that fit snugly to the XT, as it probably wouldn't fit it.

I think the 3,4,5md homes are made for the "Prosumer" compact digitals like the G and the S series style cameras. I don't think they can fit much more than that

hrm, Just pulled the trigger on a 3MDH yesterday

I did find a pic of the 300D fitting fine in the 3MDH so I will hold my breath.

According to the dims it should fit the 300D fine (the 2MDH supposedly is the one that only fits the XT/XTI snug and not the bigger cameras) I will have to report back on monday when I receive it to tell you guys how it goes

Cool, sounds good! I'm in the market for a "day" bag, so maybe you can shed some light on the crumpler bags.

My 6 million dollar home has served me well since i bought it for a day bag. i can fit the 400d with 18-55 or 17-70, 50mm 1.8, lensbaby, 75-300 or 70-200 f4 and there is still room for a flash or my film camera and a lens.

If i need to carry more lenses, then there are the little loops on each side to attach a lens case too.

It just gets a bit heavy to be carried on one shoulder sometimes.

Sorry, no pics yet, but I did receive the 3 MDH and it works great with the 300D.

I have the 300D w/24-105L and it fits perfectly. I would not want to have a bigger lens though, it really fits perfect to this combo.

It is a bit tight when you have the hood reveresed on the 24-105 though, but besides that I love it. Crumpler really makes fantastic bags!
