Default just converted to DSLRism

my new dslr is a nice step up from my canon a610 PS. this is my first set of keepers. dont hate, its a nikon d80. i love it, but i dont think the nikon and canon arent much different other than ISO performance, perhaps canon has a better sports angled line of glass and bodies.

i dont know how to get img code off of flickr

Signature is way too big and distracting. These look more like book covers than photographs.

I agree with liquefied about the signature. There are much better ways to do it.

They're interesting. What's going on in the last picture with the glow around the leaves? It looks really weird.

#3 "the used and wasted" is my personal favorite, but I enjoyed them all.

Interesting group of pictures. The only one I don't really care for is the last. The haloing around the leaves just looks too strange. Nice job on the others. I even like the conversions.
