Click. Might help.

$200 would be a bit too low I'd think. My rate is over €100 an hour normally...
In this case it's your boss however, so that might influence it a bit.

Were you working for him at the time that you were shooting and if so in what capacity. There could be an expectation on his part that since you were working for him that he might not have to pay and hourly rate.

If I had to charge out something like this it would be around 700.00 and I would provide online proofs watermarked to prevent further use. That commercial rate charge would be for a cold call from someone wanting their event covered. There would be further charges for use and/or prints.

He didn't want me to do the shoot becasue he didn't know about it. I went under my act....Yeah..that $700 looks good to me lmao. The thing is He called me today at 9:40am and wanted me to shoot a game at 10am....it's always like this to me... And Yes, I have been called and told can you do a shoot in 2 mins? I need you as well. He told me on the phone that he hired some one else, a bad feeling came about. A phone call later to was to get your hours down here this week....Hmm whats going to happen? Im not a bad photog, I have no problem showing the quality of my work, I just hate getting miss used. I never asked for a raise, and working as a freelancer for $8.75 an hour isn't that much....Anyones thoughts? I know it's experince, but 2 years of this....I've been 99.9% on the shoots when calls to have a 1 hour of window time to get ready. I have roughly 500 images availble from this shoot., supply demand in this respect? I think im going to contact a few photogs in the area and get away from this guy.

get a new job, you're getting screwed man. Is your boss paying out of his pocket or is he paying with company money? I'd say 700 would be fine, see what he says.

If you push for more $ you will find out what you are worth to him. If he pays you your hourly wage for a shoot, the images are his.
The real answer you should be seeking is:
What are you worth to others in your area? Nothing + nothing = nothing.
I wouldn't take the big leap without a plan. Unless you really don't need the $.
