question about matting

HI everyone, who does their own matting and framing? If so where do you get your matts? And acid free tape? I can't seem to find any acid free tape on Maui and I want to matt my own photos rather than taking them in for custom matting. Any info would be great

Given your location, you might have a problem. I get my matting material from a local artist supply store. Frames are another issue. I also build custom cabinetry, so I make my own frames. I was in Maui last year and was astounded at how hard it was to find things that we take for granted here on the mainland. I had a laptop motherboard crash and was looking to get a new laptop and only found a couple of choices........
