Update: Thanks for the replies guys, I left him alone because I am no wasp whisperer so I am unsure without harming the little guy so I left him alone. Well today he was still buzzing around and well I knew I had to relocate him so I figured the end of a spoon and a freshly drinked water bottle would help, plus the guy has to be thirsty and well he went to the first water droplet quickly.

This is the ozarka bottle I got him in as you can see the little guy needed water,

Overall view,

On the lid he was not quick to depart so I took some one handed shots of him, keep in mind I was holding the bottle and setting the apeture and focus with my right hand thumb and trying to keep the bottle steady with my left hand.

The drink hole of the bottle should give you an idea of size,

Here are some addtional lighting shots before my dog hit the bottle on the ground with his leg and scared the guy off, hopefully to live a full out life.

Using the natrual light,

Last farewell,

The shots are noisy because I had ISO at 200, I should've made the correction but I forgot.

I still say that's the most beautiful coloring I've ever seen a bug. Blue is my favorite color, but that's REALLY blue!

Awesome bug, never before seen a wasp that color. Not bad for the S2. Does the S2 have super-macro like the S3? I remember taking some great photos when I had a S3, better photos than with my XTi (because I cant focus as close as the super-macro with my current lens). Maybe that wasp's parents are a mix between a blue/green fly and a wasp, Im guessing they were hanging around some garbage can full of beer bottles
