Default Selective focus on a budget - lensbabies

Has anyone tried them and are they worth however many hundred dollars?

Not being a big fan of the effect, I look upon them as an expensive toy. My experience with them has been limited, but they seem overpriced for the build quality.

They are expensive for what you get (compared to say the 50 1.8) but that comes from a small company making a limited number of units.

I'd say they are worth it though. I like using mine and I've had some good photos from it. They are certainly not a replacement for a TS lens though, their quality is behind them but more importantly they just don't really work that way.

So, fun lens, I enjoy and use mine, but it is a one trick pony.

I'm mixed. I have one with a wide angle adapter and use it occasionally. My buddy the wedding photog. uses it for at least one shot per wedding. So I guess it all depends on what type of shots you like to get.
Here are a couple of recent shot with the LB 2.0
