Default POTN Powershot Speed Challenge #72 - "Construction"

Challenge #72 - "Construction"

My neighborhood has an awful lot of new buildings being erected. I always find the demolition and construction cycle very interesting. Show us what's being built in your area....

Be creative, have fun, and mind sizing rules.

Challenge Winners

1st: "Night Shift" by Chantelle - I like the lighting, I presume it is artificial workplace lighting but it reminds me of the setting sun. well composed with the juxtaposition of the church and the new construction.

2nd: "Church Building Construction" by Edd S - nicely framed, makes the workers look small and lends an overall majestic feel to the shot.

3rd: "The Bright Future" by Gerald-NC - very nice night shot. I would like this one a little more if the building was level horizontally, but I am probably nitpicking

nice work everyone and thanks for the submissions.

over to you Chantelle!

Terence

Congrats, and thanks for the placing. Not many entries this time

The building sits at that angle to where I was shooting lol, so I didn't think about straightening it.

Thanks for first place, didn't think that it would actually happen, considering that it was my first post.
