Pinks is by far the WORST car show on TV, watching it annoys the hell out of me, I really can't stand it.

Like, I love how the host (forget his name), always like, tries to make the race. He's like, "come on man, just do it," like are you serious, this isn't your car you might lose. I also hate how he feels like he has to flex his arms when staging, ridicilous.

Anyways, a Supra owner in Texas, Ryan Woon took his Supra out to race, detuned it, and on low boost I believe, still pulled mid 9 second passes, told him he was "to fast," yet they allowed cars in the same range to stay.

Personally, I think the show is all about Muscle Cars, and not Imports, which is fine, but state that somewhere so we don't waste our time coming out.

And this guy really drove his car there, how far away did he live, cause theres no way that thing couldn't have over heated the entire way there and back. Well I guess there is, my friends grandfather owns a Chevelle 454 SS, has minor work done, I think ported out, I'm not sure, but man, you get one stop light, and that thing is ready to overheat, FAST.

Still though, 800, and only 10's, is he not getting traction?

"In street trim" means it's not tuned to full race specs so that he can drive it around town.

You're still watching it? I stopped a year ago.

I actually never was interested much in it, but, I flipped it on one day, last time I watched it would have been around Sept of last year.

Frank, you would like one of my projects. I've got an Dart that I've been working on for a few years now. It used to be a sea green, vinyl top, slant six car, but it's got a 318 sitting in it's engine bay and a black paint scheme planned.

It sounds good. What year? Be sure & show us some shots of it after it's painted.
A few from last year:
'62 Dodge Dart 478
'69 Dodge Dart GT 418

slant six car,
A friends brother worked at Chrysler on them. They wrung some respectable horsepower out of them:

http://www.valiant.org/sixup.html
"9.85 @ 132 mph in the quarter mile at Bristol with a turbo slant six using fuel injection."
